How Much Does it Cost to Up-Grade?

Recently and for the first time I did some up-grades since the Pix gods changed the up-grade scale. Yes, I know, I've been playing older bots, But when I got past MK2 I got sticker shock on how much more silver it takes to reach Mk3 (and to do that you have to buy tokens). To reach Mk lv 12 with discounts it cost $495.7 Million in silver for one bot. For a typical weapone to reach Mk lv 12 is $429.7 Million. So it takes you a whopping $1355.1 Million in silver to up-grade on Lynx (1 bot + 2 weapons). Lets compare a F2P vs. P2W. Lets say a F2P pulls in One Million in silver for each battle played, just for example, the F2P player has to play 1355 battles just to get the silver needed for one Lynx to reach Mk2 lv 12. For the P2W, lets say it cost them $30 to get 500 Million in silver (which I think is a better than average deal), it would cost them $90 bucks to achieve the same and have some silver left over. But that is a simple Lynx and for simplicity I left out cost of up-grades for Pilots, Modules, Drones and Tokens. And don't forget gold which is use to instantly upgrade. I think a safe estimate for one Mk3 Lynx maxed (Pilot, Modules, Drone and needed Tokens) would be somewhat around $120 to $150. So for one hangar, 5 x $135 (average used) = $675.00.

So even if you only upgraded with a 40% discount that Pix runs a few times a month, it would still cost $405.00 for on Lynx. That is still too expensive for my wallet.

Speaking of, it seems to me that lately they are being far less generous in the supply center, and I have not seen any 25% or 40% discount specials in a while.

I don't buy silver for less than 25M per dollar unless the package contains a whole lot of something else that's worth it. Currently the best deal is the 100M Ag & 4k Au for $3 USD, which is about 33M Ag/$.

But I'm taking a nice long break from purchases. It's one thing to make the game harder to play with OP bots -OR- to reduce the discounts -OR- to award cheaper prizes, but they are doing -ALL- of these things SIMULTANEOUSLY.

I have to think that at some point their profit curve is gonna flatten then drop. But what do they care about the future?

Ive been playing for 5-6 years on android with not ever paying. cant seem to want to when they constantly make the game worse. i was alway ticked off bc upgrades for light weapons were the same cost as heavies. Also less rare gear costs less to upgrade.
