not a game for new players really

well i started a couple of days ago (yea yea noob nab scrub and all the rest) you start with basic robots about as useful as a wet paper bag ....then you're put against pay2win players (high level ones at that) with maxed out top end robots that literally nuke you in a couple of seconds ...and you literally get rewarded pittance for trying even though the odds are stacked sky high against you AND if you do somehow manage to get ona team with those p2winners you can't do anything anyway as they go around nuking everyone so your help is minimal so literally minimal rewards again , you can't upgrade as you get no rewards , you can't compete as you got nothing to upgrade your bots ....it's lose lose all the way around defeating the point in playing to begin with .

oh and i'm NOT joining a game to pay out the @ss right after pressing install...

sorry for delay in replying , leo natasha, fujin ,griffin + 1 spare griffin , weapons are basics + 1 orkan 1 gekko , every time i use black market it gives 12k or there abouts silver thats 15 times in a row now.

Yeah the black market sucks now - I actually got a good amount of my decent weapons from there til the last few weeks or maybe month before it was nerfed badly.

Leo - lvl? weapons? Try 3 punishers and a thunder?
Natasha - lvl? weapons? Try 2 gekkos and 2 king daes?
Fujin - lvl? weapons? I dont use these so I wouldn't really know, they don't fit my play style. I would guess 3 tumblases would work since you're stationary and could use the splash dmg
Griffin - lvl? weapons? Try 2 orkans and 2 pinatas and jump up to snipe?

It seems like a decent setup that you have going. I'm just trying to be helpful, I'm not that great of a player I've only just gotten to expert I league and have been playing for around 4 months or so but I was fortunate enough to get some really nice wins from the black market early on.

Thanks for the quick response. I would go with or work towards my suggestion above, and ditch the molots and spirals. Just my personal suggestion and play style, that's all. Those nashorns are pure cancer though I don't know why that's even a weapon.

My player ID is H6FO2W if you wanted to see my hangar. I use a fury with 3 tridents, rajin with 2 avengers, bulgusari with storm & 2 orkans, haetchi with 3 tarans and invader with 2 gusts and storm. It's pretty average but gets the job done. If you look like you're going to lose the match, just get in there and do as much damage as possible to boost your rating.

np - hope it goes well, i think if you put a thunder and 3 punishers on your leo for your brawler mech you might be pretty happy with the results and you won't get as frustrated lol

oh i know when i'm up against people similar of slightly better i can hold my own well but when they have pay2win and mk2 bots the best maxed out weapons and such might aswell just die because you barely scratch them and they have double or way more the range over you too so no chance of closing the gap as in 2 or 3 hits your dead anyway.

heh I ve played this game ipad for years.. i quit cuz they gotten so greedy.. so couple years later when this got on steam. i joined bk in and see how its goes. geez they r taking forever. sat for almost 2 hrs for matches ,just lvl 4 of 3 robots, waited and nuthin happen.. waste of time badly!! honestly waiting long matches is bs!!

not bothering to play today as to many p2winners on today with the same setup some sort of flame thrower and lightning weapons cute down 150k robots down in 1.5 seconds and fujin with 100k and shield in the same time so not much point i give up fIuck it all ♥♥♥♥ game

I'm using GI.Patton with Spiral x 4
Gareth Orkan x 1 Punisher x 1 (working on getting Magnum)
Doc Tulumbas x 4 (Want Orkan x 2 for second arms)
Griffin Tulumbas x 2 pin x 2
Leo Thunder x 1 Punisher x1 Pin x 2 (would like Gust x 3 Tempest x1)

Level 25, silver 1 at moment.

This give's me some range to fight from and I can capture beacons.
I had Punsher x 3 on Leo, but when they ran out of ammo together, I was just left with Thunder.
The Pins give 500m range and blast damage and keep firing while the Punsher is reloading and handy for smashing shields.



Fujin, try Orkan and two Tulumbas.
Tulumbas for there 500m range and splash damage and Orkan for when they get 300m or less to you.
You can use the number keys and righ buttom on mouse to fire just the selected keys.


Griffin same as mine, you can jump up and let off at 500m or less.
You can use it till you have Orkan and pinatas.


Natasha, two gekko for range and two Thunder for when they get close.


Leo, Thunder, Punsher and Pin, choose which you want two of.

I've played for a couple years on various platforms. They made some changes back in November or December that made it considerably harder to get the good mechs and weapons. Anyone that already had some of the good weapons/mechs still has them, while new players are unlikely to be able to get any good weapons any time soon without spending money. I'd have to agree with the OP.
