I Cant Find the Save Files

I understand that Bioshock has no Cloud Files and if I want to transfer the game files to another computer I need to manually import them. The problem is I cant find anything in the Bioshock folder that even remotely resembles my save files. I havent moved anything and all my games are in the steamapps folder. Can anyone tell me where to look and what the file names are?

Is where I found them in Win7

sorry to necro an ancient thread but i just recently started playing, had same issues but i go into the folder and there is no savegames folder, will making one fix my issue?

An update on the necro: I just found some savegame files on C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Bioshock\SaveGames

So glad you're here to correct us. Perhaps when you are telling someone they're wrong, you could just politely correct them in future. It doesn't cost anything and will help everyone. Isn't that much nicer?

Anyway, back to business.

Savegame files can be found at:
Users\<user profile>\Documents\BioshockHD\Bioshock\SaveGames :-)

In my case, the save game file location was:
"(...)/Documents and Settings/Administrator/My Documents/Bioshock/SaveGames"
or
"(...)/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Application Data/Bioshock/"

Since it's my first time, and I'm not good with this things, I wanted to know how to actyually tranfer the data
I've found on Google that the save files are in (...)My Documents/Bioshock
Do I have just to copy and tranfer the file? What type of file is it?
I don't have to work and the steamapps folder, am I right?

I reviewed all of this, and can not find my files. I found the directories, but no save files.
Ive upgraded drives over the years, but i believe that should not make a differences. (image mirror.) I will need to pull out my old drive and search that. Ill update here if I find anything.


EDIT: WIN10 + set steam launch optons to -dx9 , so it would run correctly. Im also using an ultra wide now.
