Can't run Bioshock at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't run this god-for-shaken game at all !!! I tried every way out there and in the forums and either it says "Failed to create GameExplorer object" or in the compatibility mode it says "Can't run the application (the application is already running". I bought the game yesterday and I really considering a refund if this problem persists.

My PC Specs are:

Gigabyte ga-f2m75fa-d3h
A8-5600k
Corsair Vegeance 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
AMD Radeon 6670 2GB (dual graphics with A8 APU)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit latest update

I used the crack (ONLY THE CRACK !!!!!) in the Steam original folder and it worked !!!! IT F****ING WORKED !!! WITH THE GADDAMN CRACK !!!! ARE YOU SIRIOUS ?! (XD) I bought the f***ing game so I won't use pirate version of it and it worked with the crack ?! If Steam locks my account after that I will sue their asses till second Apocalypse of the world. I bought the game and I have the receipt from the purchase. For the love of LORD JESUS F*****ING CHRIST fix it !! I don't care if it's old, outdated or a stolen retail version you just copy-pasted from a CD that you bought down at SOHO street in U.K. from a junkie that uses the public toilet as his shop. I PAYED for a game that is SUPPOSED to WORK 24/7 with no errors from the GAME-IT-SELF !!!!! IF you say ANYTHING for piracy or EVEN THINK of locking my account as I said you will face the consequences.

Same here, but mine just says "bioshock.exe has stopped working" before it even loads.

For Windows 7 64 bit:

1. Open steam folder and go to game folder. In the game folder go to Builds/release/ and then right click the Bioshock.exe icon. Select properties, then select the compatability tab.

2. Select settings from the pull down menu for windows Vista Svc Pack 2 and hit "Apply". Now exit out and start the game. Once the game is running adjust your screen resolution and any other settings you would like.

3. Next, exit out of the game. Then switch compatability mode to Windows Server 2003. Then exit out and start the game.

Note: when playing, don't alt tab out of the game.

slootNI my sh!t is working perfectly for the Bioshock 2 or any other game I bought this far, so please consider not to play it smart-a**s on other peoples problems. If you have an answer to the problem feel free to say it and then humiliate me all you want, if not then feel free to go f****k yourself.

ralph6145 thank you very much for the answer, I will try with Vista SP2 compatibility because the Windows XP SP3 didn't worked at all. Thanks again XD
