Extra Slots for Plasmids and Tonics?

ok, i've been able to buy extra slots for the plasmids, BUT how do i buy extra slots for the tonics? I have 420 ADAM and i'm ready to buy, but appear to only have the option of extra plasmid slots... please advise!

If you go to the Gather's Garden, there's three different tonic slots you can purchase. Physical, engineering and combat tonic slots. They're located at the very top underneath where you buy plasmid slots. You can also only buy a maximum of twelve tonic slots throughout the game.

If you don't see any available for purchase, it means you probably haven't gotten far enough in the game to unlock more slots, hope I helped.

THANK YOU! yes, that helps a lot. it looks like i'm not far enough into the game. can only buy one plasmid slot right now and no other slots at all.

so, does it make sense to hold on to the ADAM til i can buy those extra tonic slots OR just spend all of it now?

It depends on what you want to use your ADAM on and which ever is more important to you and your playstyle.

I personally chose to only use electro bolt and winter blast so I upgraded those right away whereas I used the rest of my ADAM on health/eve upgrades whenever possible. I believe tonics are helpful but not as reliable as your plasmids so I prioritize plasmids and health/eve upgrades over slots usually but like I said, that's my preference and way of playing.

I would only get more tonic slots if you really want to use them or for finding particularly unique ones such as SportBoost or Clever Inventor.

If you want to play dirty, you can get everything using 'console' command.
Just edit User.ini file and assign your desire 'cheat' to get via key bind.
