Suddenly my SportBoost speed stops once I enter Fort Frolic

Yeah, as soon as I exit the bathysphere in Fort Frolic, my speed boost from both SportBoost tonics vanishes. What's that about? I can literally step into the bathysphere, and my speed boost is back, and step back out of the bathysphere and my speedboost is gone.

Any help is much appreciated considering I just sank 160 ADAM into two new physical slots (5/6) and my last hard save is way back in the beginning of Arcadia. This is my first time playing Bioshock.

Okay, so after I met Cohen, this bug disappeared. I'm back to moving at my intended speed. Weird. Makes me wonder if it'll happen again.
