Report a translation problem
As far as I know, the only graphics mods you can do are video card based, as in forcing ambient occlusion (which some say works fine, others say causes shadow glitches, YMMV). There's other effects that will work too, like obviously AA and AF. Bioshock actually has a setting for AF, which is preferable to use over forcing it in your card. Check out the ini fixes from the original tweak guides maker.

That will take you straight to the ini tweaks. I can recommend the cache settings, AF, Channels tweaking (I would set the channels to something absurd like 512, as that setting is a cieling, nothing bad will happen if it's too high.
If you're familiar with nvidia inspector, there's a LOT of other tweaks you can use to enhance texture quality and graphic appeal.
Other than all that, there was a post by irrational (I think it was irrational, it might've just been the publisher 2k) about upcoming Bioshock news. It had a poster for eve's garden and was teasing new stuff, some people are thinking it's an HD remastering of Bioshock 1. So maybe that!
