Bioshock 1 No audio after Intro SOLUTION HERE! WINDOWS 10 and under

Hey snight01 here,

Noticed alot of threads about no audio after intro issue and some weird recommendations such as installing openal and so and such. So let me help you guys out abit..

First off if you're using hdmi cable, I bet you're using nvidia hd audio and thats cool. But you'll also need to enable your onboard audio and install the drivers for it, which may be realtek hd audio.

After installing that, you'll need to right click the sound icon> go to recording devices > right click show disabled > and enable stereo mix. If its there already just enable it.

How this works is realtek will decode and playback will be through the hdmi device (nvidia hd audio) so two heads better than one.

After stereo mix is enabled, you'll need to hear your sound.
