Didn't get the shotgun

So I didn't get the shotgun from outside the Kure-All; can I get it somewhere else?
Also, how do you get more Gene Tonic and Plasmid slots? Thanks in advance.

You can get the shotgun later. I know i find shotguns and machine guns around and when i pick them up it just gives me ammo.

Tonic and plasmid slots: A) Have enough ADAM B) Go to the next level. It does indeed suck that you are limited with what you can buy so you just have to store tonics and such until later. Whatever level you're in now, when you get to the next one you should be able to buy more slots at the next Gather's Garden.
