Initial impressions:
The translations do need a bit of work, they're not too horrible to not understand what's meant but they're lacking quite a bit. (that's just the story though and it's after all a puzzle game so the story's not all that relevant)

The pricing is a bit on the high side I'd say, it seems to have the ability (still to be added ATM but it was released today in EA, so...) to make and share your own levels, which woiuld add a lot of possibilities for infinite gaming. (that feature will be dependant on how many people buys it and even more so; how many that creates levels)

The game is very basic, reminds me a lot of (whatever it was called "Red's something") you can move in four directions and you'll keep moving in the chosen direction 'til you hit a wall ad infinitum.

On some levels you have a max allowed movement, but if you screw up slightly you could still beat the level even if you don't get all the treasure chests.

I like it and I'm not going to go for a refund I'd still say that it is a bit overpriced and the pricing is something the dev. should look into, it's not on the level of other games of equal pricing and it does have a good base to sell from and the dev. should really go for earning through amounts sold rather than trying to maximize profit through a high price. (I really think that'll come back to bite him in the arse...)

This is the kind of game that'll never (from a pure view of what it is) get old, it'll - like Tetris - work for years to come as it's simple enough to that...

Maze Of Adventures is an easy game to pass by... but don't let the genre that's saturated with games that rinse and repeat the same thing with little to no variation construe your image of what this game is.

The game has a small but intriguing storyline. It's nothing fancy, but very effective. You're an archaeologist collecting treasure and out of nowhere you bounce up an older, seasoned German veteran that doesn't care about the immediate treasures... he's after the holy grail. The story is told in a simplistic fashion that's reminiscent to SNES RPGs. However small the storyline is, it does make you fall in love with the characters and gave the world meaning. I found myself looked forward to the conversations with Von-whatever-his-name-was. Not to mention, the dialogue is modern, funny, and references other games, such as Portal 3, which does not exist as yet.


Gameplay
The game does a good job of slowly walking you through how the game works. The main controls consists of the four main directions. You don't move block by block, but rather in lines. You can't stop or switch directions mid-move either. The game uses this to its advantage by creating good levels that require you to use your moves wisely. There is also gold throughout the level of which you don't have to collect, but if you're an OCDist, which you probably are if you like these types of games, you'll spend a decent amount of time and brain cells trying to figure out the best route.

New elements are slowly introduced that change up the way that you have to think about solving puzzles, none of which seems forced which I greatly appreciate. Some of these are portals, fire walls and colored barriers. Speaking about changing things up, after you "fight" the old German archaeologist, which was an intellectually great challenge, world 2 surprises you with a technique that I would rather not spoil for you... trust me, your jaw will drop from the plot twist in the story and the gameplay that awaits you.

I can't wait to see what other mechanics Maze of Adventures has in store in future levels. Guys, don't let this gem pass you by. If you're even remotely interested in this genre of games, Maze of Adventure is the best that I've ever seen in its class.

i like the concept of this game but im only on lvl 11 and i am stuck. i wish there was a skip or hint button.

I like this game, it really made my brain work! Gameplay is very addictive, looks like I've got a good timekiller. Hope guys make more chapters and levels. What i don't like is the problems with villain's animation and that I cannot se, how much keys should I get. Also I didn't get the promised reward, but I think it's the early access problems. Owerall, a good puzzle for puzzle lovers.

Nice game which has many lavels and spaces. I like when I can use my brain when I'm playing) That game let you thinking how you should go and choose better way.

Very nice puzzle. The game begins with a simple puzzle but from level to level the game becomes more complicated. There are new gameplay elements as you progress through the game. Funny plot, nice graphics and light background music. The game quickly tightens. Waiting for the version for mobile devices.

Firstly, I must say that this game is used on mobile platforms only but not by steam. But, anyway, it’s quiet good. The creators have chosen the right way and they deserve support. I must also notice the great job done by graphic designer.

I've found this maze game very enjoyable! Casual interface and control that even a child can understand it.
Cute images and folk music makes a pleasant impression. It's good that there is some hint of a plot that makes you take a fancy to John.
Message to developers - put some more music tracks.
At conclusion this brainteaser seems like a legit timekiller that gives you positive emotions while you drink warm tea with some cookies x)

The game is fairly straightforward. Walk, collect treasures and keys go pass to the next level. Gradually, the number of steps is limited and appears portals to make the game and life more difficult. And then you have to turn on your brain. But how sweet the taste of victory, when you reach the door!
A couple of times I could not figure out how to take treasure chests. But if you want to finish the game on three stars, then please reset the level and start over.
A story goes throughout all the levels. Also I really liked that I can skip all the dialogs.
If you are not a fan of reading useless texts, just push the button and go further. But if someone decides to read these texts, then he will be amused by jokes and dialogues.
I have already finished the first chapter, perhaps I will play further. The game is indispensable in the bus, lines, etc. Great timekiller which make your brain work. That's all I wanted to say.
P.S. I noticed that if you think about the options in which direction you can go, then almost always there is a single right way in each position.
