So sad :steamsad:
You will not get anything with sea rods outside of norway, it's effectively switched off.

The most important thing to learn about RF4 is that the devs want you to fight fish, generally if you put together a combo that will totally overpower your target species you'll have results (undersize, wrong species, low bite rate).

OK! I got it bro! thx:steamhappy:
I recommend size 20-30 conventional reel for catfish, ideally with tests less or equal to 30 and stress on line length / mechanical toughness (this stat is not shown in game, you need to look for reel test lists that users made).

no, but segun ultima CST has 140kg load, you can pair it with semi strong conventional reel and easily pull even bigger cat on 120kg something line, harder is to get it to bite, can take some time

I have this gear and have tried it, issues are that even a 50KG cat can easily redline over 100kg of gear strength and 2, strong conventional reels have very high test weights and won't throw the lure more than 10-15m.
It's doable, but not the cakewalk you'd hope, Rather use a spin setup with a goliaf.
