Keyboard input

Dear players,
With this recent patch, we changed the keyboard input method to the more universal US layout in preparation for some major control and UI overhaul in the near future. Some keys might not work as they used to on your local keyboard. You can change them in the configuration menu. Pls be aware that a key you choose might not be displayed correctly in the settings menu but will still work as intended in the game. We will fix this as soon as possible.
If you run into any further issues, please let us know.

its not a bug its a feature....

edit: i cant change the keys. playing on german keyboad where Y and Z keys swap poisition, i cant change the zoom key. wont lose focus after i select and enter the new hotkey. shows Z but cant enter Y or Z.

this is, at least for me, SUPER anoying

We will fix it as soon as we can. Keyboard input method change was necessary for the future customizable RF4 controls and maybe even a small surprise

Hellow i have a mini keyboard, so i dont have numpad. I cant set a clip on a rod. I cant change the hotkey from the menu. how can i do to set a clip w/o a numpad?

the "autospin" funktion with press key + shift and it will automaticly spin doesnt work anymore

Did you try CTRL and 2 buttons ( - and +) before the Backspace ?
Have a look at the US keyboard layout to find the correct position of the + and - keys.

This issue is fixed now - game client hotfix was realised few hours ago.

there is no longer a german keyboard layout in the game, but it still works in chat.
so z and y are swapped, and ä ö ü and so on don't exist either, so it's still the american keyboard layout

Backspace dont work anymore for Rod 1 in the Inventory. You do realy soo much , to destroy the Game. Keep it on
