first allow me some general advice: naming your post "I want an answer" and stating it with some accusations that are not based in reality is not the best way to get in contact with anyone.
Question 1 and 2:
Changes to prices for equipment are ALWAYS displayed in the patchnotes. These notes are published on our Steam store page.
A game like RF4 is not a static object but an evolving process. New ideas are implemented and existing content has to be adjusted accordingly. Sometimes, in case of the player houses for example, we were not happy with the original price balancing and had to change it.
The possibility of prices or attributes being adjusted is also announced in the games TOS.
Question 3:
RF4 is trying to be a realistic representation of real fishing. On a real life water body, a spot can not endlessly be farmed. Instead, RF4 rewards flexibility, knowledge and interaction with other players. There are many different places where players exchange information and post active spots, from our official discord and forums to the many fan-made sites. We invite everyone to join these communities in order to always find an interesting fishing spot.
Question 4:
While RF4 can be played as a single-player experience, there are some multiplayer aspects to it. We have several leaderboards in the game and it is our duty to ensure the results are legit. Otherwise, players who want to play for a spot on these boards would rightfully feel betrayed. If there was no cheating, we would not need these systems but sadly that will never be the case.
Question 5:
Higher level water bodies generally have more valuable fish in them. This design is important for players to experience a progression while playing the game and advancing their character. Also, new water bodies are always more popular. When the entire community focuses on a specific map, there is less information shared on other ones.
That does not mean there are no active spots or exciting fish on the older maps.
Question 6:
It is of course impossible to please every player, but from the feedback we got, most players seem to enjoy the challenge. For players who do not enjoy these quests, we usually design them in a way that allows players to pick and choose. In the New Year challenge for example, a player could just do the first task for free premium and then do the last two tasks to have a chance at the major prizes.
On server crashes:
The recent server crashes were of course extremely unfortunate. Our team worked tirelessly to fix them and we hope that we achieved a higher level of stability now.
In cases like this, players are of course compensated for the down time they experienced.
On communication:
We value our community's feedback very much. Many cool features of the game are based directly on player's ideas. We invite all of you to get in touch with us on our official platforms and let us know your ideas and wishes.
But we will NOT be blackmailed into changing the core philosophy of our game by a small group who has launched an organised attack on the game. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not help to improve the game.
