Harvest bait EXP
How does Harvest bait EXP works?

You will have to spam making the higher level baits to gain any reward in % improvement. There may be a limit in how many % rewards you can receive in a game or real day, as even spamming the latest baits you can create at some point seems to give maybe 2 or 3 x 0.1% improvements, then gives nothing. You will end up with thousands of baits from this in your inventory. That's just the way the skill system works, or at least appears to work. It's designed to be grind. The % reward is probably more likely if you're a premium player and it's "Happy Hour", other than that enjoy the grind treadmill.

Same like other skills, the lower the skill level, the easier it occurs, but
rather randomly a +0.1 or +0.2, from
making simple baits, dough, digging for worms and insects, or cutting up fishes.

I would not recommend digging below level 70%, simply because you can buy those baits for silver, cheap. It takes to long to regain your energy between a dig for worms.

I would make dough, and fish pieces. That in my opinion is a better way.

Well to just anwser you both at the same time...Am using the shovel to collect bait but at times am not rewarded any EXP at all and am trying to understand if it has to do with the fact that worms dont give EXP or if its a bug?

Edit: Making simple baits hasn t given me any EXP on harvest bait tried it with wet bread and potatoes (which is the only thing i can craft in my % atm). Also buying baits is expensive for me.

You can find fast bait crafting road map online it's what baits you should craft at what % skill, it also involves premium during happy hour...

Does the guide help without having premium?

The key to success in this game is premium with happy hour...

I have currently I think 75% harvest bait skill. You will have to make around 4,000 wet bread to level up the first skill past wet bread. After that it's more of the same. You have to make thousands of baits to level up. It goes very slow, often making 50 in a row with no skill increase.

It's the same for ground bait, where I am at 100%.

I don't use premium, not worth spending money on in my opinion as you can do it without premium.

Be prepared to spend 10,000 or more silver on this endeavour....
Xas Nov 29, 2023 @ 10:39pm
Every effort counts, slow but
eventually will reach the end, only at 98% but totally worth it.
Been digging and scooping since Day 1, 24/7, eating, cooking and drinking tea.
Never had the need to buy redworm, bloodworm .... etc . Earthworms, Leeches, large larvae and insects, onhand stocks of thousands, and 100k of ' worm '.
Making a stockpile of doughs in the beginning just to raise to Pieces of Fish could last a long time.
Cutting up fish meat and bait fishes eventually makes the job easier, with the surplus of chubs, perches and carps for the dispose, or looking into bottom bait fishing.

All it takes is patience and dedication.

Yeah i agree it does make it somewhat enjoyable but somewhat frustrating if you don t have someone whose playing the game longer so he can help you out at times with specific things.

My ground bait was around 10,000 silver. don't forget to invest 5 skill points in the making ground bait skill, so you always end up making 9/10 or 10/10 quality bait as opposed to 2/10 or 4/10.

Points very well spend if you do bottom fishing.
