setup for marine fishing

Hi guys after a bit of advice on what to aim for to improve the struggle with some of the fish at Norway. I currently use a venga 10k with 36kg line, rods I use are the saltmaster inshore 92 and the fjordmaster 70-030. Marine fishing skill around 68%.
I do ok but as soon as I get something like a halibut or decent turbot or larger saithe it takes for ever to get them in sometimes. I know we have all been there :-).
I would of course prefer not to buy gold as thats a lot of real money for a rod/reel but any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers!

Get Bigger line and lock mech to make it easier. I use a 18kg conv reel w/ a 98kg mech and 82kg line. I lock every fish possible.
