Largemouth Bass
Hey, i think adding the Largemouth Bass would really add to the game. Its the Number 1 Fish in the US with huge tournaments all over the year with the climax being the Bass Master Classics. That fish would be great for Tournaments and i think would bring alot of People to the Game. I rarely switch to another game just for some Bass Action. But i would love it way more to have them in RF4. We got the Rigs and Baitcast reels and everything for those fish already. Some other fish to add to that lake would be Alligator Gar, Gar, Catfish (Bluecats, Channel Catfish, Shovelhead Catfish, Sunbass, Smallmouth Bass, Muskys Pikes, maybe even some Stripped Bass.

I know this is Russian Fishing, but this would be a great addition. I love fishing for Bass and Muskies as well!

I stumbled over this.
"And the U.S. continued exporting bass to countries around the world. The trend continued throughout the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, with largemouths finding new homes in Panama, Spain, Cyprus, Russia and many more countries."
So Largemouth Bass are already in Russia :D Lets goooo

i would LOVE to see bass in the game. A hit from a bass can be explosive and violent and is super fun to catch using so many different presentation and lure types. I'm not sure if they will because technically, bass are considered an invasive species to other countries, like Japan but they for sure are in Russia.

Push this if you want to have some Bassmaster Action <3

As far as I know, bass in Russia are mostly in very small rivers and ponds and rarely habituate in the larger waters. They tend to keep it decently realistic in that regard.

That said, I personally have no wish for bass in RF4 unless it's Sea Bass. Plenty of other fishing games for that, some dedicated completely to bass.

Yes and everybody who plays these kind of Bass Games would switch to RF4 instantly if they had some good Bass Fishing in the game because theres no other fishing game even close to being as good as RF4 with the way fish are moving and stuff. In those " bass fishing " games especially the dedicated ones you feel more like a acarde game rather then a fishing simulation. On thefischer theres list of where to exactly stand and where and how far to cast to catch trophys all day its so boring and un-realistic.

I don't think bass fishing would add enough to make someone like RF4. People either like RF4, or they don't.

Lets keep it realistic ,that is why i play the game for 5 years ,bas bad idea

Bass would be nice, but just good top water fishing would be close enough. The lure is so dead on the water and the strikes are almost ghost like on the surface.

With most, if not all, arcade like games and not much on the realistic side as this game. Perhaps Ultimate Fishing is close....but this is ftp and people have time invested...which is why people are asking for it.

Bass fishing isn't realistic? Not sure what you mean. Devs hinted with a wink, they might add more areas that are in other places so anything is possible.

I can promise the area won't be anywhere near North America. lol

Edit: With the apparent company move from Russia to Colorado, it may now have a slight chance.

RF4 was never meant to be russia exclusive. RF4 is the 3D version of RF3. And RF3 goes all over the world. But with it originating from russia, i fully expect them to explore every inch of good content russian territory has to offer before we go to locations in other countries.

Biggest Musky in rf3 is almost 55kg, and the record large-mouth bass there is 7.8kg.

I expect to see fly fishing and sea fishing before they start adding international maps.
