"And the U.S. continued exporting bass to countries around the world. The trend continued throughout the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, with largemouths finding new homes in Panama, Spain, Cyprus, Russia and many more countries."
So Largemouth Bass are already in Russia :D Lets goooo
That said, I personally have no wish for bass in RF4 unless it's Sea Bass. Plenty of other fishing games for that, some dedicated completely to bass.
I don't think bass fishing would add enough to make someone like RF4. People either like RF4, or they don't.
With most, if not all, arcade like games and not much on the realistic side as this game. Perhaps Ultimate Fishing is close....but this is ftp and people have time invested...which is why people are asking for it.
Bass fishing isn't realistic? Not sure what you mean. Devs hinted with a wink, they might add more areas that are in other places so anything is possible.
I can promise the area won't be anywhere near North America. lol
Edit: With the apparent company move from Russia to Colorado, it may now have a slight chance.
RF4 was never meant to be russia exclusive. RF4 is the 3D version of RF3. And RF3 goes all over the world. But with it originating from russia, i fully expect them to explore every inch of good content russian territory has to offer before we go to locations in other countries.
Biggest Musky in rf3 is almost 55kg, and the record large-mouth bass there is 7.8kg.
