How do cafe orders work?
I understand the basics, sell specific fish for better than market price, seems like a no brainer. But what about the timings? They have a time until expiration, is this in game time or real time? If an order is filled, how long until it is replaced? Are cafe orders global? As in all players have the same orders? If I see an order for 1 carp for a little silver but five days on the timer, is it worth it to fill that order just to open a spot for a possibly bigger order?

I love this game, btw, lvl 14 so far and enjoying every step of the way. F2P at the moment, I'm sure I'll invest into some premium or coins in the future to support the devs, I feel like they deserve it.

Shown timer is in game time. Keep in mind that your fish stay fresh for 24 hrs real time (= 24 days game time) in your keepsack. So if there is no cafe order for what you currently have in your keepsack, it is possible that one appears in the next 24 hrs real time. Selling fish at the fish market should therefore be only your last option.

If the timer of an order runs out, the order gets replaced by a new one. What I can't tell you yet is how long it takes to replace an already fulfilled order. But you should also keep in mind that a cafe takes only those fish caught at the cafes location. So catching perch at winding rivulet for an order at mosquito lake does not work.

Thanks for the reply. I figured out that you have to catch the fish at the location with the requesting cafe, and I have been saving fish until cafe order for them or timer is running down. Knowing that the timer on the orders is game time and not real time makes a difference, as an order with less than a day on it will be replaced fairly quickly.

It seems that filled orders can take a long time to repopulate. I finished a couple orders at Old Burg this morning, and when I got home from work eight hours later those orders hadn't yet been replaced. Other times it'd only been an hour or two (real time) and they had been replaced. Maybe the timer on the order still has to run down?

That is what I currently believe, too. Although you have completed an order, the original timer of the order ist still there, but just no longer visible. But I have not tested it yet so I can't confirm this behaviour for sure.

yes the times for completetd orders is still the same as before and has to run out to get a new one

Yup. Which makes sense, since cafe orders are the same for everyone, so they refresh at the same time for everyone as well, whether completed or not.
