How to throw away broken rod?

How do you get rid of broken reel, rod and similar equipment which stays in your inventory after being snagged and broken or simply being worn out etc...

I dont want to repair it i just want it OUT of my inventory please!

In backpack select "rods" or "reels".
Click On "blue icon" bottom right of page.
Select item you need to remove/bin.
Click on "Bin" icon, displayed on the right of icon bar.

Make sure not to select all.
Items removed/deleted can not be restored!
