carp rigs sink float

Since Amber opened up any time I try to use the new float rigs my float always sinks. The weight is well below what should pull it under and it only happens with the new rigs. Match rigs setup from before Amber work fine, its cost me a small fortune trying all the different floats to see if that made any difference which it didnt. Any help appreciated.

I bit the bullet and created another account for rf4 forums and saw what you meant Crucian, was very informative. Lol silliest thing is that when I first when to Amber on opening I did it the right way but thought there was something wrong :-) . Tx again and to Worminator for the forum post.
