Developers Where is the fish?
i am still beginner with trolling and i like spinning from the shore more. but i will give trolling another try.
today it works much better for me than yesterday, using hunter 1-002 at 104:112
Can't go wrong with this lure
Tried all the Akilla spinners of varying sizes on Belaya, horrible results. Tried all the Blast Funky Minnows up to 1.5 meter depth and Hunter spoons, horrible results. Tried many soft baits and rig types across the bottom with horrible results. Tried top water lures along the grass with horrible results, got more bits on them popping across open water which is just unrealistic as hell.
I used speed up and my own personal twitching style with spinners, as well as straight, fast/slow retrieves @ 12, 16, 22, and 28. I did lift and drop, stop and go, and speed up for the spoons, and I did twitching, speed up, stop and go, and retrieval with pause for the crank baits. I nail my retrieve method in two-three motions and maintain them with minimal no-method times between changes. Stop and go is a bit tricky but @ 34 retrieval speed, it's easy to fill it in for a split second with retrieval with pause. I had amazing results about 9 months ago with funky minnows and terminators, could not get a unique Brown Trout, but got a few great Graylings.
I know exactly how colors work depending on the weather and time of day, Silver/Brass-light colors dawn, Silver mid day-bright colors, Brass/Blacks-Dark Colors Evening/Night. And I hit all the best spots, even on the far side of the eastern bank.I got pretty excited awhile back when I had RL success with drop shots and shad minnows with attractant on them and thought I would come back and play some more since I can't fish peak hours during the week. After four 3-5 hour sessions in the evening, I was back to believing this game is rigged to push you into spending more money. And yes, I spent a fair amount, had premium for 6 months and bought a lot of silver to have the ultimate tackle box.
As someone who has almost every spinner, spoon, crank bait, popper, wobbler, and a few soft baits, and 100% focus on spin fishing and two bolognese rods with open reels floating down stream. I am confident I can prove you wrong on Belaya River. It's probably the best fishing game I've played in terms of mechanics, but the least fun of them all. And a game should always be fun and feel rewarding, not rigged to become more unfair and trigger you into spending money based on your level and rather or not you have premium. Seems like the more I rank up, the less I catch fish until the moment I lost premium, I was blazing through the level 20's on Belaya. I've been level 28 since the day my premium ended.
Edit: I've done lots of Tench and Bream hunting on Old Burg, bottom fishing feels far more balanced than spin fishing, and it's great for afk fishing just waiting to hear a bell ring. But you can still walk around the whole lake 4-5 times, switch between Cheese, Boilies, Honey Dough, Corn Meal, Corn, and Semolina, and get the same poor results every time, hitting all the good holes and great spots like the bridge cove, that rotton marsh area in the corner to the right after leaving the outpost, or around the island/deep holes in the top left.
spinning is ONLY at kuori for lower levels ONLY on a boat, or as a fun aside when you have 2 feeders going.
thanks! this one works good at 104:112 and also from the island to the north
