Played 1 hour and caught about 10 fish, which is about every 6 mins. I would like it more on 5mins average tbh. Seems more balanced or better to me, but like I said, I am new so might be starting problems.
Try having a look here. Players post the trophies they catch so you can see what is biting where at the moment and also the baits and groundaits they are using.
You can also look here: https://rf4game.com/forum/index.php?/forum/186-spots/ to see places the fish normally frequent on the different water bodies.
One piece of advice I will give you is that if fishing is very slow, then you probably can tweak something a little bit to make it better. If it isn't working well don't continue to try it expecting different results.
some spots are hot, some are very, very cold in my experience.
this changes with weather and day/night....
hmmmmmmm....
I understand that this is a fishing simulator and that fish migrates. But this should not mean that we don't get any fish in the cold spots too, just maybe less frequent bigger ones. And the fact that a fish can take one to two days in-game to pull out is ridiculous! No fish has that much stamina.
I understand that the developers need to make money, and I have always supported them by buying premium time whenever I played. But the price for gold is un-affordably expensive and the price of items too.
I would play this game again if the developers decide to be come less greedy and rather make the game more affordable, which I am sure will get more of the older players back and make them more money. Also consider making premium and gold available in local currencies through steam. My country's money (Rand) is almost R20/$us. So I must pay R200 for 5 gold coins and I need hundreds of gold coins for mid level gear, but must pay R1000 just for 25 coins! I can buy a real life high end reel for that money.
Please developers, this is the BEST fishing game out there! Make it more affordable and playable for us!!!!!
If you want to play a simulator... 10 fishes in an hour ? That's highly unrealistic.
