Fewer and Fewer Fish
As the game updated, fish became harder to catch. A lot of players quit the game recently, and now most of them are newbies and anchors. Bad reviews are on the rise, and hopefully the makers will make the game more playable

I am new, but yeah, it seems to take a very long time to carch fish. It's tbh not too much, but a little bit quicker would be more fun, maybe 10seconds up to 30 seconds quicker.

Played 1 hour and caught about 10 fish, which is about every 6 mins. I would like it more on 5mins average tbh. Seems more balanced or better to me, but like I said, I am new so might be starting problems.

Try having a look here. Players post the trophies they catch so you can see what is biting where at the moment and also the baits and groundaits they are using.

You can also look here: https://rf4game.com/forum/index.php?/forum/186-spots/ to see places the fish normally frequent on the different water bodies.

One piece of advice I will give you is that if fishing is very slow, then you probably can tweak something a little bit to make it better. If it isn't working well don't continue to try it expecting different results.

This is not a phenomenon that I am alone. This is a common problem for players in China. There were no fish in the fishing spots in the past. A large number of players swarmed in the new fishing spots, and soon there were no fish in the new places. The were 300-500 i can earn per hour, now only 100-200, there is too few fish. I am a college student in China, and my English is not very well, I hope you can understand what I mean, and can respond to me. If possible, you can also come to China to experience it, because one of my foreign friends told me that he is really not as difficult as me in fishing.

I have some chat record of some Chinese players. You can use a translation software to translate it. Many non-written terms are not necessarily accurate. You can learn about the situation. i don't know how to put pictures here. You can see the screenshot in my homepage.

What you are talking about is not uncommon for this game. It isn't that there are less fish. It is part of the game that you can "fish out" a spot and need to let it rest for a while before fishing there again. The fish also do migrate and bait preferences can change. When one thing doesn't work, don't continue to do it, try and change something until you find something that does work.

But thousands of players are trying new methods and points, and they are useless. Not a few pictures without fish, but all pictures. For example, in picture 20, I tried a lot of different baits and ran through all the pits. I can only earn less than 200 yuan an hour, and sometimes only more than 100 yuan. It doesn't matter if this situation is short-lived. However, according to the player's feedback, the fish decreased rapidly within a month. We speculate that excessive competition and fishing have led to frequent migration of fish. If you don’t believe that fishing is really difficult, I can let the players attach their own steam ID in the form of a joint letter to prove that it is not my personal statement. This is not a normal phenomenon. You will make new players lose their enthusiasm and make old players feel tired. I think that the number of competitions should be limited to prevent the fish from falling due to excessive fishing. An anchor could open a competition in the primary picture every hour. There is no fish in the low-level picture, novices can not make money, they force novices give them money to buy 149 sets, this is not a good game environment.it should be taken serious.I experienced this game and gave my suggestions, I hope you can consider it.I hope you will do better the better and make the game completed soon

You can look at the following discussion of the server restart notice in China every two weeks, which can explain some of the problems. This is really a very, very serious thing.i like the game, and i don't want to give up it. Some people left, but I hope that through my efforts to make the game change and become better. Otherwise, I wouldn't write such a long article in English. I didn't write my homework so seriously.

You don't understand what the players in China have experienced. It's very difficult for us to fish. We don't have any fish, no matter in good or bad positions. We can only catch ten bream in one night without using a nest pole or a stick. In 20 maps, one hour's income is less than 200 yuan. We don't get better equipment for our income, and we can't upgrade our life skills.

Maybe it is region dependent?
hmmmmmmm....

I have a level 34 character on the RF4 launcher and this newer character on Steam. I must sadly agree here with my Chinese friends. I have stopped playing RF4 frequently due to the fact that the fish bite rates has become too low.

I understand that this is a fishing simulator and that fish migrates. But this should not mean that we don't get any fish in the cold spots too, just maybe less frequent bigger ones. And the fact that a fish can take one to two days in-game to pull out is ridiculous! No fish has that much stamina.

I understand that the developers need to make money, and I have always supported them by buying premium time whenever I played. But the price for gold is un-affordably expensive and the price of items too.

I would play this game again if the developers decide to be come less greedy and rather make the game more affordable, which I am sure will get more of the older players back and make them more money. Also consider making premium and gold available in local currencies through steam. My country's money (Rand) is almost R20/$us. So I must pay R200 for 5 gold coins and I need hundreds of gold coins for mid level gear, but must pay R1000 just for 25 coins! I can buy a real life high end reel for that money.

Please developers, this is the BEST fishing game out there! Make it more affordable and playable for us!!!!!

If you want to play a simulator... 10 fishes in an hour ? That's highly unrealistic.
