Get stuck on the bottom of the lake when i fish with the Feeder / not snagged !!!

First time i throw out then nothing happen so i start to reel in and then i notice i get stuck on the bottom of the lake / not snagged.
The second time i throw out and place the rod my alarm start up and i got 1 fish.
The third time i doing the same place out my rod and nothing happen so i start to reel in and then i was stuck in the bottom of the lake again and not snagged.

So please tell what is going on here . I am not snagged and my resistance bar is locked almost down on zero no matter what i am doing.

-- This issue also happen when i throw out and in the same second i tighten up my line i get instantly stuck / locked whit fish on my hook or without any fish or when i reel in to swap bait i also get instantly stuck in on stage and not snagged.

Basically in few hour in the game 2 or three feeder is locked / stuck not snagged and it is nothing i can do about it and this issue i have for the first time i start up with feeder fishing and now i am at level 13.

And then i do it again - throw out and the alarm start up and when i gonna reel in i was stuck in the bottom of the lake again.

3 out of 4 time i get suck in the lake when i use feeder.

A friend of me in this game just get stuck as i did when he fishing with the Feeder in the same Lake.

After my last post here i went back to the same lake and i throw out and get instantly stuck when my line hit the bottom of the lake.
The next time i try i do it on another place on the same lake and the same happen there as well i get instantly stuck this time as well so i give up the feeder fishing that day.

Well i try feeder today and throw out my line and the bell start to ring. I take my rod and start to pull in and no fish there and next second i get stuck in the bottom of the lake again.

I notice something else who may help you out : when i place down my rod then my bell ring and i pick it up and there i have a fish so i start to reel in and after few second i am stuck and my resistance bar go down to almost zero and there i am stuck again - either i can place down my rod and the bell start to ring and i reel in the fish some few second and i am stuck again and place it down on the ground and the bell start up . This i need to repeat several time before i get that fish up.
Or either i make a overspend on my rod when the resistance bar is almost down on zero and keep it there for a long time and suddenly i notice a pressure on my rod and i am able to reel in for some few second before i am stuck again and this i need to repeat several time before i have the fish.
Every time i get stuck my line vibrating when my resistance bar is almost down on zero and this happen either i use feeder or sinker and the size of the fish doesn`t matter because the most of the time i use feeder rod i got fish from 200g -500g and my rod even get stuck on smaller fish.

Sometime this strategy don`t work and i am stuck forever or i get stuck when i reel in my line without any fish.
Out of 20 time i get stuck around 17 time so this bug make it impossible to use feeder and it dont`t matter what place or what lake i choose because it happen all the time everyplace with feeder or sinker even with a fish 100g or when i reel in without any fish.

-- May i ask what your team gonna do with this issue because we are able to use three rod at once time and so far this issue only make it possible to use one rod spinner or float.

Some feedback on this would be nice.

I think you are not waiting for the fish to be hooked before you are trying to reel in the fish. The game now will show the fish nibbling and this may slightly set off your alarms. You need to wait until you see a line drop or the line going away before you reel in. You can also press r to see if the reel speed is set automatically as this is an indication of a hooked fish.

Mate i throw out and when i start to reel in with fish or without fish i get instantly stuck almost every time.
The bell ring my line move and i pick it up and the resistance bar is moving to yellow and when i start to reel in i get stuck in a split of a second and my resistance bar go down to almost zero and i am not able to reel in and the resistance bar do not move either no matter what i am doing.
So i place down my rod again and the bell start to ring and i pick it up and the fish move and resistance bar is up on yellow and i start to reel in and get instantly stuck.

One time i throw little to close to shoreline and i place it down. After a time the bell start to ring so i pick it up and the same happen " I get instantly stuck " when i start to reel in and i know i have a fish on my feeder rod. After long time i almost give up and my resistance bar was almost down on zero ( green color ) al the time then suddenly i think about why not go over there and move my rod around because my hook is very close to the shoreline so i did that.
Well i did everything to release my feeder but nothing help and the fish and the hook was just in front of me and i give it up this time as well but then " Why not try to use RMB " and i did that and i collect the fish without any more reel in because my line was reel in at max at this stage.


-- I just level up to level 12 and visit Old Burg Lake for the first time and that trip cost me 7.90 silver. I find a nice spot throw out my only feeder and my two floaters so i start up with my two floaters and after several hour in the game i notice zero action on my feeder and i know now i am stuck again and i pick up my feeder because nothing happen on it and when i start to pull in my line i been instantly stuck so what is going on here may i ask.

How much wrong can i do to get stuck 17 time out of 20 every time i use that feeder , how is that possible to get stuck almost every time as i am doing ?

You can go to my ingame player " Symatrix Hill " click number 5 and throw out and see by your self any time you wish mate because this start to be a nightmare where it is impossible to use feeder and then i am back on floats again and i have spend crazy much hour on floats fishing just to try to earn some few silver.

If you add me as a friend then i am able to invite you to one channel on my friend discord where you are able to look at my stream just me and you and i show you how hopeless feeder fishing is at this stage.
Of course you are able to delete me after this issue is solved, no problem with that mate.


If you got time to help me out here then i be very very happy actually amazing happy because at this stage i feel so much helpless and it is impossible for me to continue without making feeder fishing work.

When i get stuck like just now : the bell ring and i grab my rod and i get instantly stuck. My resistance bar is almost down on zero and i am not able to move that color resistance bar 1 mm .
It look like it is the fish who causes this and it look like the fish freezing and the game doesn`t realize i am stuck.
Basically the game mechanics think i have a fish and the fish is freezing and i got zero message about snagged or X cut the line or use RMB.
When i try to use RMB then nothing changes and my resistance bar is still at the same spot almost down on zero.

This issue i get only when i use feeder or sinker.When i talk about stuck then it is not like snagged but more like freezing where my resistance bar is always down on almost zero and it won`t move no matter what i am doing and the fish is on my bait.

So half a year later this issue is still a thing. It happens to me if I play through steam or locally. It happened to me from shore and on a boat. On the boat it came off after a while but now as I'm fishing from the shore I can't do anything, it's just stuck. Please guys fix this issue. I've been having so much from with this game and now it's just a big pain. It's not fair that I have to cut my line with my expensive hook and such on it every time this happens.

You need to quit the game and this way you keep your equipment, by the way what level are do you have.

150 hrs into the game, and this happened exactly one time to me. Strange that some people seem to have a constant issue with this and others don't get it at all. No offence meant, I know this bug is officially confirmed, still strange.

It has happened to me over 50 times in the last few days. Let me ask you that question Graubart, do you primarily do ~3.5kg bottom-feeder, or bottom-rig fishing? This bug is also *relatively* recent, several of my friends also have reported this happening to them but much less often on rocky floors.

This bug is still very active and especially hard on newbs

My current bottom feeder rig tackles about 4.5 kg. I use it with feeder and alternatively with bottom sinker (30g). The one time that I got stuck (Ithink it was at the old fortress) I just logged out and back in and the gear was free. Some other times it felt like stuck but I was able to snag it free.

This is by no way a 100% fix but a work around I found when I first started is if you slowly tighten the drag and walk backwards at the same time 7/10 times the rig will release from the ghost snag before you red line the rig and break your gear. If that doesn't work you either have to set it down and wait for a fish to take it or re-log
