I start paying this game little ago and i can say its the best and really realistic fishing game im been seen

Unfortunately, RF4 has been spiraling down for months. Starting with the abolition of almost all streamer tournaments, to bite rates, the ridiculous migration and much more.

In some way you are right. But as you say you have 3000 hours in this game, when you invest so mutch of your time into a game you will get more and more demanding. A game that keeps delivering on that level is very rare and most certainly not a free to play format. Play some other games and when a dlc comes out you go back in again.

Obviously you are new to the game and don't remember what it used to be like, at one time it was the best fishing game then the devs nerfed it to hell to make more money. Now it's okay on the starter lakes but elsewhere you struggle to find fish and catch mostly just tiddlers.
If they aren't careful the 2 new games coming out; The Fisher Online and The Fisherman are going to blow this sadly degraded game out of the water.
My suggestion to you fishingboy is to stop being such a fanboy, play it some more and then see how you like it when you're a higher lever, I think by that stage you'll be struggling to catch much like the rest of us!

This OP is not wrong, this is the best Fishing Game out there, at least at the moment.

Maybe one of the new games coming out in the future will be better.

I've put in a fair few hours into this game now and I'm still enjoying it. But then again I just enjoy fishing.

The core game of fishing planet is no-where near Russian Fishing 4, it's fun for a few hours but it gets very samey in next to no time. Arcadey and very simple after a few hours. Cast in a hot spot with a bait designed for that fish, wait, then retrieve. There's no playing with fish either. Either you have the gear to reel the fish in, or you don't. Russian Fishing has loads more variation that Fishing Planet in terms of gear, fishing methods, baits and groundbait ingredients, it's unrivalled in comparison to other Fishing games available.

It's just a shame Russian Fishing is keeps nerfing itself, because the core game is great, which I why I'm looking forward to The Fisher Online, the core game looks quite similar to Russian Fishing, but hopefully it is a bit more liberal with catch rates.

In terms of fish sizes in Russian fishing, I have never had an issue with it, I've always caught decent sized fish, it's just that on/off catch rates of waters which irks me and makes to stop playing.

First of all, calm down.

Second of all, I have my facts straight.

I'm currently playing The Fisherman having bought it, this is despite putting hundreds of hours and well over the £35.00 The Fisherman cost me into the 'F2P' Fishing Planet (both P.C and PS4 versions).

I'm currently playing The Fisherman over Russian Fishing 4, yet I can honestly say that Russian Fishing 4 is the better fishing game for the same reasons I have mentioned earlier, I'll post them below:

I don't have to fan boy for one game or another, I can happily admit that Russian Fishing 4 is the better Fishing game while paying and playing the FIsherman, because I'm bored with the slow catch rates in RF4. So just calm down and start looking objectively.

And to the question 'how do you buy baitcoins in The Fisherman? You buy the DLC packs (that were released immediately after a 'complete version' of the game was released) that come with Baitcoins. Once you complete all the missions and challenges, you stop earning baitcoins, other than when you level up or catch uniques, and levelling up becomes harder and harder to do the higher level you are. The repairs for DLC gear are about 100 baitcoins per repair. You think that's fair? You don't think that's dodgy? You don't question why that's even a mechanic?

So three more questions:

How are you meant to repair your DLC gear once you have run out of Baitcoins?

Why do you need Baitcoins to repair your DLC gear?

Why aren't you allowed to repair your DLC gear with Credits?

There will be tons more DLC released for the full and free version of the game, and if you buy one DLC and want to repair the gear you get with the DLC, but don't have the baitcoins, the only real option you have is to buy more DLC to get the baitcoins bonus, and the cycle continues. It's a dodgy practice, there's no harm in calling it out for what it is.

So don't get so annoyed at me for calling that sort of stuff out, and for pointing out that RF4 is the better Fishing game. If RF4 had the catch rates of Fishing Planet, it would be almost unbeatable.
