Does incendiary ammo pass through shields?

Does incendiary ammo pass through shields?
I vaguely recall getting the mini launchers (week 2 or 3) and using incendiary ammo to kill enemies with shields (then I'd put out the fire with a smoke grenade to avoid exploding equipment).

iirc the toxigun works wonders against shields, it's super cheap and easy and way over powered against all aliens. sorry for late reply

I was just trying to remember about Incendiary Ammo.

Yes, incendiary ammo bypasses shields. Same goes for Toxiguns and all gas-type weapons.
