Mini Game Advice?
I made it to a jumping on a trampoline mini game where I was using a XBOX Series X d-pad for the mini game, but not every button press registered, is there any was to slow down the mini games or mess with the frames per second so I have a fighting chance?

Also, I saw something about being able to skip mini games, how does that work?

I've really been enjoying the humor in this game and would hate to have to give up on it due to the poorly designed mini games. Thanks.

I have the same issue. Funny since it worked perfecly in the dancing one which is basically the same game.
But yeah on trampoline some key presses are simply ignored. It's not an FPS issue, I restricted the game to 60 and 30 FPS and all that changed was that for some reason loading took way longer.

I "solved" this by using Cheat Engine. Save beforehands to be sure, Larry likes to crash on alt-tab. Then select the game in cheat engine with the button in the top left, then hit "enable speedhack" and set it to half speed and hit apply.

There it shows it's really a bug because still keys don't register all the time (about one for each group) but you have enough time to press that key again and catch the following ones.
Was able to have a perfect trampoline minigame that way.
If I had to guess it's a resolution issue, I think the "target" circle sometimes is too far left without the graphics reflecting that.

EDIT: Easier way, get the trainer by hoodlum, for example from here: https://www.lonebullet.com/file/trainers/leisure-suit-larry-magna-♥♥♥-laude-15-trainer/4107 (lol steam censoring, replace the ♥♥♥ with c-u-m)
This one has autokeypresses for these events, making sure you win. It's basically autowin minigames if you want.
I'm not 100% sure it works with the steam version, I play on GoG, but there it works just fine

I'm glad I found this post. After reading this, I started clicking the sequence of buttons after instead of as the circle meets the button prompts, and was able to complete it with ease. This time I'm playing the Steam version, but I remember playing this on Xbox forever ago and losing my mind because I kept failing and thinking it was me. Pretty sure the issue existed back then too, and I just hadn't realized it.

THIS is important. Thanks for pointing it out. Should be made sticky. Unfortunately no one can do this. It's a almost a breeze with this method.😊
