Don't you mean upper decks?
where is that? I thought Larry 8 was canceled
that's not the Real LSL8. The Real LSL8 got canceled after Sierra changed ownership in 1999 which was Chainsaw Monday.
Al Lowe (The father of Larry) never liked it (interview on youtube) and was sad, what his franchise became. Thank god they stopped making such games and re-invented Larry more the classic way again.
The last good LSL Game was LSL Casino for windows which had Online Support.
I miss the mid 90's. As an angry gen-x kid I dont have much nostalgia but there was a brief era in the late DOS, early Win95 days when we had some excellent video games. Mostly because devs were not afraid to experiment and take chances. We also had tons of garbage but experimenting means lots of failures to get a few successes. Good times.
By the Late 1990s, the Inventory Adventure Game Genre was in decline at the time during 1997 as Chainsaw Monday was the Final Nail in the REAL Leisure Suit Larry 8's coffin when the Sierra Oakhurst Development Offices were closed and was moved the Bellevue, 250 workers were fired & marked the end of the Golden Age of Adventure Games on February 22, 1999 due to consolidation & its Final Issue of the InterAction Magazine showcasing Homeworld.
Leisure Suit Larry never got another woman to flirt with & Roger Wilco never cleaned up another mess again.
