Suggestion: Custom Flag support

There's an enormous selection in-game already, but is there any chance we could have the option to add our own flags to the game? It would open up a lot of possibilities for those of us who, say, want to use the emblems of the Galactic Republic, or Starfleet, or more down-to-earth options like one of the countries that aren't already included, like Turkey or Mexico or Argentina.
I realise it's not exactly "realistic," but the game already has an LGBTQ+ flag, and I'm pretty sure homosexuality was literally illegal in most countries in the 60s.
I'm just asking for our options to not be constrained solely by what the devs can think of.
