PATCH

To whoever ownes the rights to this game.

Can you at least PATCH it.
Its a minor thing but I would like to see my sonar ranges.

Patch ? The company that produced this game is loooooooooooooong gone. (much to my dismay... I loved microprose)

It's never going to get patched.

Openxcom does allow you to save an load.

But yes you cant use your current play through.

But honestly Openxcom is the patch and updates, balance and bug fixes you want.

Plus it opens up modding.

not who created the game but the group that owns the rights, the people collecting the money...

Must be a bug, open x-com wont load combat mission saves.
Others apparently have the same problem.
I hope they fix it soon.

I just started playing it and I downloaded and installed Xcom util 9.7. This game seems to be a step backward. Where are the options to control music, sound effects, etc.? The music irritates the hell out of me. I can't organize my soldiers or equip them when they are at the base. When I win the battle it goes to DOS then back into the game. The Triton can only carry 80 items. In UFO Defense Open XCom fixed all that. What happened this time? Am I missing something? I also like to track my soldiers stats with a spreadsheet but there's no way to do that so far with this game. Can't use 2 screens.
