Private server
Is it possible to host/have a private server for free or do I have to pay a website or something ?

hey, i looked up the same thing, you gotta pay to rent or host a dedicated server i you pc and thats why im doing. playing this untill Last Oasis is back online in few days

You can have steam start a server for you, running on your own computer. But then you have to start a client on the same computer, and you can run into issues though, lag, rubberbanding, etc.

It's not a resource issue. Doesn't matter how good your "rig" is, doesn't matter what your processor, ram, etc is, the issues are caused by the server and client running on the same system.

But it's an option if you don't want to rent a server, or don't know how to set one up.
