Fear the Night

New auto work bench
OK I'm a little confused on the wording in the patch notes, do you actually have to go to the junkyard to create this bench? If so where is it? I play solo so it's gonna be tough to kill all 5 enforcers so I can make the new bench. Seems a little unfair for solo players

I've just been to the junkyard and there was only 1 enforcer there! At least as far as I could see. I could easily get around the side and to the generator. Wasn't in the mood of pushing my luck to capture the POI alone, though. It (still) takes 150 recycled metal, 150 recycled plastic and 40 car batteries to start the capture.

I tried to look inside but couldn't see anything different. From how I read the patch though, it seems like we can craft an automated recycling bench there, which we can then take to our shelters and set up there. It would be nonsense to have just one automated bench at the scrapyard, right? On the other hand, this could have to do with future features such as transporting goods to specialized locations for them to get used. Can't wait to try this out later!

The auto salvage bench can be crafted in the junkyard. Keep in mind junkyard has to be occupied. After crafting, put it on an orange slot in your shelter. Turn the generator of your shelter on. Put salvageable items in the "grinder". Check if the grinder is turned on. It should auto salvage now.

Appreciate the info, thanks! Now I'll have to figure out how to capture the scrapyard solo or find someone to help with it.It's probably not a bad idea to make a few of those benches and give/sell them to people later, as players want the scrapyard unoccupied to hack enforcers there.

Thanks for the info Ridge, I don't want to sound whiny, but I still think this will be tough to do solo and that's all I play. I wish they would have put in another option to build it for solo players somehow. Tough to capture alone

I've taken the junkyard "solo" many times. with seven enforcers.

The amount of zombies that spawn during the occupation, you will not be able to kill by yourself.

Hey William long time no see :) Tell me this, what do you set your enforcers on when you are facing enemy enforcers and or taking a POI? Do you weight them down and keep them stationary, or do you let them run free. Also, do you set them on "attack my target" or just aggressive? Thanks for the help
