This is an issue that is already fixed on Steam but it's longer for the hotfix to go on Switch. It should be fixed on Switch on next week. Thanks.
Also(since the two of you seem like you'd be experts here) do you lose all your shards again when you start the NG+2 cycle, like at the start of NG+1?
@-Kite-Man- You do not lose your shards, which initially disappointed me because I feel like that gives incentive to spending time farming time shards before clearing each cycle, but as long as the Time Shard cap is 9999, that shouldn't be overkill.
I threw all of my shards into the Money Sink, then paid for that arrogance in Howling Grotto :P
Nothing came of it then?
The time shard count goes way higher than 9,999. I thought maybe it would be 99,999, but it's not that either. Some fans made a save file editor, and it seems the game should allow for 10 digits of money.
Here are the efforts of me farming for about 5 hours. To get to the 7th digit, it would take about 50 hours.

I donated all of that money into the time sink and completed the game (on a normal save file), and nothing came of it. I found something in the picture files that suggests the Money Sink does something, but I believe it's a joke image that's only there to tempt you to pointlessly donate even more money. (I could be wrong though.)
