Returning from the Matriarch Butterfly

How the hell do you do it? I can get 80% of the way back from the main corridor to reach the boss, but have tried about 40 times to figure out what trick/jump/thing you have to do to get back, and I can't do it. I wonder if I'm missing a technique you learn somewhere else like double-jumping.

But I just can't get past that last square to the right. It has to be the green garden (I don't know if that is past or future) to exit. Anyone know? Hints from the dev?

You can exit any area through the shop.

I ... uhh.. wow. I stopped going into the shop after I bought all of the upgrades, and even then never realized you could exit the shop to the warp area. I might need to be cut out of the gene pool. Thank you.
