I feel ya. Had several disappointing failures thanks to that mess. The first few "tracks" can be mastered quickly, at least, so it should give you a head start in points before having to get the last few. Still tough though.

i really didnt like it as well, as it again relies on the terrible hookshot which honestly is much only complaint in the game as far as mechanics go. it feels clucky and if you miss any lantern in most rooms of the race, your just instakill. didnt need as much tries for the race as for the totem though, so it didnt tilt me as much.

Use your hook shot as much as possible. On enemies, walls, torches. That's how I get an edge in on the first few. The flying one is absolutely BS though.

I really dislike this design of uneven pacing. You end up mastering most of the early stuff but always stuck on the very last thing. Since the game asks you to start all over from the beginning every time you fail the last challenge, you'll have a boring time getting to the very part you keep failing at then barely have a shot at improving at that part. If I've proven 50+ times that I can do the early parts, let me skip them...

The race is not frustating, just a bit dificult... Had only to grasp the right timing of the cloud step and the hook...
And, of course, the flying part is the only part that was really difficult... The shadow clone does almost no mistakes on that one, so you can't do either... Had to try a lot before getting that 5-0 win achievement...

Same here, but I would gladly start the main game from the beginning again. The DLC, not so much.

I thought it was super simple using your hook dart thing. Took 2 tries.

The achievement was a pain because i couldnt keep momentum in the flying part but luckily the remaining courses werent too bad.
