Anyone actually beaten the 5th run against the dark messenger?

i beaten Dark Messenger but there is some challenges that look impossible to do since AI does it perfectly.

Yeah I'm stuck here as well for the Star messenger achievement. I beat him easily on the 4th first challenges but the 5th he just do this weird boost and finish so fast it seems imposssible.

That one lvl where you are supposed to go fast by just hovering?
Yeah... I gave up on that.

I would just dunk myself in the lava and try to win on any other stage.
Reminded me of Super Meat Boy on how precise you have to be to get a record.

If you are doing it for the achievement, good luck 'cause you gonna need a good controller with pinpoint reflexes. Thats one hell of an achievement. Betting that anyone whos a god on Super Meat Boy (or any other games like it) wont have a hard time getting that.

I was so close, but the last jump I always fall a bit short while the dark one seems to get it right but I believe I can do it after so many tries tho. The learning curve is real.

The worst thing about it is you have to restart everything if you fail. Back to the main menu, loading the save file, doing the first 4 runs again until you get again a shot at it. It stinks, but i won´t give up.

So for the part 5, what to do at the very end, just before the finish I always fall short and stop in a wall while the shadow seems to get really high above and has a clean landing.

Do I need to use the grappling on the iron ring ? It's so fast I have trouble to really understand what I'm supposed to to. I've been doing this for 3 hours now

It doesn't look like the dark messenger wastes any time on that track, but I actually messed up on it and still beat him to it. It's not as tight as it could be.

You basically want to NOT mimic what he does, and instead focus at doing regular jumps besides the mandatory glide parts.

This damn thing is SO brokenly unbalanced! How is it fair that if I die, the Dark Massenger automatically gets a point.... but if they die, I still need to finish the level within a set amount of time or they STILL get the point anyway?
