In that case I doubt it, seeing as they'd need permission from Disney who owns the IP and maybe Bethesda as well since they were the original publisher.
That is most likely also why that title is missing on GOG but the other Sea Dogs titles aren't, aside from To Each His Own which also isn't on GOG.
Thank you. It's my understanding that Pirates of the Caribbean, the 2003 game, is the spiritual successor of Sea Dogs; hence, often dubbed Sea Dogs II. Is To Each His Own much like Sea Dogs? Do you know if it's worth getting for a fan of the 2003 Pirates of the Caribbean?
Sorry I can't be of more help than that!
Thank you!
windows 10 = nope
Windows 7, with a decent(or better build) is a big no no...
Interesting, I'm able to play sea dogs II on my intel laptop running Windows 10 x64.
I did have to download a patch and a modified .dll to fix intel graphical glitches.
I recall changing some of the compatiblity options of the .exe file too.
I have managed to get it to work on a windows 10, but the game ran in like 300 frames pr second... and the f1-f10 didn't work as it was a laptop with those buttons pre installed with something stupid.
Sea Dogs II appears to work fine on windows 10. There might be some hardware issues, but downloading the 1.06 patch should resolve any major issues. There are also some hardware specific fixes, like a Dell graphics patch.
Otherwise, run the application in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows and fiddle with the properties.
