Where's The Water?

The girlfriend wants water, but I can't interact with the sink, I have no cups and there's no place to buy them, there's to place to buy water bottles, and there doesn't seem to be any water fountains either. My quest for the illusive water has proven too difficult so I'm hoping somebody can help me out or at least inform me if I'm experiencing a glitch.
