Yes. You can catch squirrels and sell them in the "Shoujo Mart" convenience store.

Please describe what exactly doesn't work for you. Catching and selling squirrels works fine. In the convenience store, walk towards the cash register with a sign saying "squirrel exchange service" until you see "hand" icon, then press E. Put squirrels into "sell" window and click on "sell" button.

It works now i had to do a delete and reinstall to fix it.
