does anyone know if the -10 retirement age option is permanent (ie, will follow the character into their next campaign)?

Stresses me out that it doesn't say, and while it seems like most things like that don't, the fact that the disease one specifies that it doesn't worries me; -10 retirement age can be pretty crippling for a character you want to keep, especially on non-mystics, but the forge thing is super flavourful.
