Promoting a legacy and abilities
I know that if I promote a legacy at the end of a campaign, that "These heroes' current items, transformations, history, and abilities will be saved to your Legacy" (from the wiki). However, I have a questions: On promotion, are the abilities from the played campaign added to the list that the legacy has, or do they replace the previous list?

As an example: My legacy hunter had Rogue when I initially made him a legacy. When I recruited him in my current campaign, I didn't give him rogue and didn't select it when he leveled up. Assuming that his original ability set was "Rogue, Through-Shot" and his current ability set is "Thorn-Fang, Through-Shot", if I promote him will his abilities include both Rogue AND Thorn-Fang, or will Rogue be dropped from his ability list since I didn't take it in this campaign?

The ones you didn't pick this run are lost, but give me a moment to double check.

Edit: Yup. Only the abilities at the latest promotion count. Don't promote if you got unlucky with picks or lost any limbs you liked.

Thanks for the quick response!

If you didn't give him Rogue in your current game, and you promote him at the end, then he'll no longer have Rogue available in his skill selection when you recruit him.

Only promote characters that have the skill selections you want to have available if you pull them from Legacy.

@Nakos, Thank you. :)

Meant to add this post to this thread (not the other one).

This (for example) is Lilandra Sagefoot, my favorite mystic:

Note that she's only level 3. I've used her several times since she reached level three, but haven't promoted her again, because those are the skills I want her to have available when I use her. (And she's never ended another campaign with quite the same skill set again).

Funny, I saw your post in the other thread and read it. :)

Yep, finished the campaign, bit the bullet and promoted my hero. :)

Thanks again!
