Question: How to watch a video from the beggining?

I don't like that the video immediately jumps to the matched word. I'd like to watch the video from the beggining, but it's a drag to click and drag to the left.... no pun intended. I remember that in Her Story you could use a bar that would easily make you navigate to where you want in the video.... there's gotta be a command in this one too. Am I doing something wrong?

Would also very much like to know. Sometimes you stumble across videos where you notice very quickly that the whole thing is relevant but you start on minute 3/4.

It kinda is a dealbreaker for me... Because at the speed it goes, I end up watching the whole video backwards...... I see images, read subtitles.... and it just takes forever. First 7-minute video I got hit with, I quit the game... I'm just waiting for an official answer, because I was really looking forward to this game. I LOVED Her Story in its entirety and I can tell this one is gonna be awesome too... So let's hope there's a way to watch everything from the beggining. I really don't understand why they took out something that used to help the players doing detective work... Now you just have to wait 1-2 minutes, while the video goes back to the beggining.

Yes please. It's hard to believe this wasn't noticed by the team, so I guess either there must be a non-obvious way to watch straight from the beginning, or it is intended to be this way.

Adding to the many comments about needing a "start from beginning" or "restart video" button on all these clips. Major oversight on the design!

yep, having to rewind every clip in slow fashion got old after 10 minutes of playing. Really taking any momentum out of the game and about as exciting as rewinding VHS tapes before you bring them back to the videotheque back in the day.

Another possibility is to simply let us rewind WAY faster, increasing the speed limit or something.

Being able to skip to the start would be really handy. I see no reason not to add it since they allow you to rewind all the way in the first place.

I actually didn't use this feature at all - I saw I could do it, but I thought it kind of challenging when my search term dropped me in the middle of a video. I'd watch it from that point on and try to piece together how to get the video start.

I'm sure this is working as intended, although I understand some folks want to watch videos all the way from the start. Here is why I say it's working as intended: you're meant to jump around from video to video often only sticking around for the relevant parts of a video; I know one search landed me on an 11MIN video and I really only wanted to get the story centered around the keyword search. I'm sure most people will just watch the full video anyway, and can see why wanting to scrub to the beginning is desired, but I think they kind of want you to take each video in chunks by searching for where you need to go instead of just gobbling the entire thing at once.

In Her Story this wasn't really a problem as each video was already cut into pieces. Here, it's one entire complete conversation.

ANDS!'s comment makes a lot of sense to me. I was watching the entire videos and it take sooooo long, because in each video you can get at least 2-3 rellevant words. Reading the available reviews from players already, I wasn't understanding why they had just 1-2 hour of gameplay and apparently weren't satisfied with the ending, because it seems to me so little time of gameplay... but now, that makes sense lol

ANDS!'s comment doesn't make sense to me, as the game visually flags any video you've viewed at least single fragment of. If you don't watch the full videos as they become available to you, you will very quickly lose track of which videos you've only seen parts of and which you've completed.
