WTH to do in this game?

I bought this game because of "triller" etc. labels in Steam page. Didn't play "Her Story" a lot of people referencing to.
So I started the game, RAM OS, secret, investigation, search videos by keywords, blah-blah-blah - ok I see. Search for "LOVE". Found five videos, great. watched a little videos (given there is no "Start from beginning" button and agonizingly slow rewind, developers do not want us to see all video from the start). But what next?!
I assume I'm some type of detective trying to solve some mystery. But wait a little - detectives usually understand at least what they investigate! Say murder, etc. But I have no idea what I'm investigating! Why should I make some marks in video, for what purpose? What my hero in the game is trying to find out? How can I "reveal mystery" if I have no idea what game wants from me? I see some random dudes saying meaningless for me words and.... WHAT? Why it should be interesting?
Or everything is so bad as I suspect and I just need to search random words I hear in videos and, for God sake, reverse-engeneer some story?
