How do you play this game?

Okay that sounds stupid. I played Her Story and loved it. The short 5 to 60 second videos kept my attention through the entire game.

Now, after the first search "LOVE" I get greeted with like 15-20 minutes of videos. Am I supposed to watch through the entire videos? Am I supposed to only watch around the point where "LOVE" is said? If it expects me to sit and watch a 7 minute video straight through whilst jotting down every small little detail that's insane (at least to me)

Am I missing something?

You pretty much nailed it. I choose to rewind the video and watch it in it's entirely. No need to write down details, there is a bookmark feature. What I do if I hear something that may be a Keyword is I bookmark it. In the history, you can see your bookmark and at least the first few words of the sentence that you bookmarked. If you don't remember the rest of the sentence, you can always click on the bookmark and that video will play from your bookmark.

P.S. I actually never used the "Love" Keyword. They may have just been trying to help show us how it worked, but I felt like I was being forced to start where the Devs wanted me to start. So, I erased "Love" and put in "Lies" as my first query because the game is called Telling Lies.

according to other posts i've seen , it's best not to rewind videos as the entire plot could be given away. Another guy who spent his whole game rewinding videos said only 1 video out of 169 actually had some vital evidence in the first couple of seconds. Another guy said there's no point in rewinding the videos because you spend too much time doing it and you don't really need to.
