Game won't install on Win 10 64 bit

I own an original CD copy of the game since it got released. I wanted to come back playing it on my modern Windows 10 64 bit PC but the installer keeps giving me errors. I tried running the setup in Windows XP SP3 compatibility but still say that the application is not supported by 64 bits systems... How can I solve this??

The game actually works on a 64 bit system, but the original installer doesn't. If you don't have a 32 bit PC on hand to install it and then transfer it over, I'd simply recommend you to just spend 5 bucks to get the steam copy, which avoids all the hassles of installation.

i had at one time put the copy into a Virtual Machine but then you need an original Windows o/s copy. my issue is most all VM windows are trapped graphically and not screen edged...

I tried the Steam version to have installed on Win10 64-bit - the installation goes through, but I cannot play the game. I bought it in a bundle, but still... I would love to do a couple of scenarios in this old gem!

Config: AMD K-10, Win 10 Pro 64-bit

I didnt have any issues on both win7 or 8.1 64bit, so i guess you'd want to try some compatibility mode. Run the game as admin, maybe.
