Best way to keep Buckets out

So I want to keep more than 2 buckets out without having to go and pick them all up just to drop them again after the inspections. Any suggestions?

If I remember correctly you should be able to collect water inside bunker as well. Right now I don't remember was it with pumphouse room upgrade or without it as well :)
