Water usage monitored?

So, the water usage is supposed to be monitored, and you should not consume more than a fixed threshold per week.
Now, I am under the impression that even using the sink at its maximum everyday, you do not go above said threshold.
Additionally I didn't find a way to build more sink.

So what's the point of this water check by the agent?

it monitores how often you go to the sink and get water. If you use too much water the Agent gets sus, because it could be an indication that something is going on. You can get more water with buckets when you put them outside while it rains or in the late game.

I know all of this, I already completed the game. This does not reply to my question/feedback, I never asked how to get more water or how the agent suspicion works.

Back to the topic: Even by using the sink daily I never managed to go above the threshold.

If you use more than 3 times per day the agent will mark as suspicious. So if you are not prepared during cut off days and get too much water from sink it doesn't look good.

There is really nothing more than that. It's that simple. Not sure what answer you are looking for?

This is an interesting question, since water is regulated anyway. How are we to know how often to use a regulated resource? What's safe and what's not?

Inspection protocol shows power and water usage. That's how you know.

How fast the sink is recharging? I wasn't aware it was fast enough to be used thrice a day.

Just keep an eye on it and see. Yes, you can fill up to 3 times a day but you will go over your weekly allowance so use it wisely. Your reports will have your water and power consumption used in the 7 days.
