Forest 6 -Trying to reach the end
I 'prepped' for a few days for a deep Forest 6 run.

Supplies on this attempt:
Rifle
180 x Rounds (this was way too low, but I hit a 4 day 'Postman Missing' and I didn't want to wait)
3 x Lucilles
5 x Axes
54 Dynamite
10 x Energy Bars
30 x Energy Drinks
25 x Dried Meat

My plan was not to stop to investigate cabins and take the first path deeper into the forest as soon as one became available. I slept on the couch at home and ran out the door at 6am.

Milestones:
6-30 at 14:25
6-40 at 17:10
6-50 at 19:50
6-60 at 22:50
6-70 at 01:55
6-74 at 03:00

I found that the most useful item was ammo, only swapping the rifle out for the Axe to cut through barriers. The second most useful was dried meat for healing. I only used around 10 dynamite to throw at enemies camping the other side of log barriers once I'd cleared them (although you could just shoot them and I think shooting is much more efficient than dynamite). I only used around 5 energy drinks. I used about 120 rounds to make it to 6-74 although I was using dynamite and melee with the axe 25% of the time (which I think was a mistake).

I suspect that someone with more ammo using the rifle primarily and getting luckier with exit path placement could make it to 6-100 before the 3:00am deadline.

What was slowing me down most was having combat triggered which prevented me from running down exit paths. It is possible to click the exit path and start running down the path while wolves bite you, but this is a matter of luck to have the exit animation trigger before the combat trigger.

All of the melee weapons weren't needed as my first new Axe didn't break on chopping logs and I probably only took around 30 melee swings all up. I still recommend taking a few extra axes, butt 3 should be enough. Lucille is redundant as its a waste of time swapping out the rifle.

If anyone else makes an attempt I recommend using rifle 100% of the time, shooting enemies on the other side of barriers before clearing them and only swapping to the axe to clear barriers. I'd still take 10 dynamite on your hotkey in case you get surrounded due to the clunky combat interface.

That's a very interesting thing that you have made :nuke_prepper:

Would be fun to see a YouTube video of it :prepper_happy:

I might make a video of my next attempt. I'm curious to see if cabin loot gets better as you progress like the desert.

Well, it seems the highest carry weight in the game is 99 (and 999 for cash), IF there is a limit, that would probably be it, or it just go on forever.

Not true. I'm at 160 now. There's a book you can buy (Sergey, I think) that'll raise the limit.

And you can exceed 999 cash; there's an achievement to have more than 1k.

I think the pistol shoots faster then rifle just heads up on that for calculations. I got all the books my max is 180

Where did you find the 2nd lever to get further past nancy?

I know pistol is faster, but it doesn't do as much damage. I'm not sure if it one shot kills snakes. I will have to do some more tests. Basically I think a single rifle shot is quicker than 2 pistol shots (not to mention ammo conservation).

I just watched a streamer playing in the forest. Giant rats take 2 shots from the pistol. I'm not sure about other mobs, but I'm pretty sure that this makes the rifle a faster killer and uses less ammo per kill.
