Yeah maybe. I just wondered. Someone designed these quests (including the quest rewards). Someone implemented them. Someone tested them. And no one found that odd?
I can guess how it went. Maybe in the first place when this quest was added the seed were finite. Then it changed so the plant stay as long as it have light/water, but the quest wasn't changed.

Honestly, even with just 3 plants and 1 or 2 additional visits in the level 3 forest, I don't find the 99 to be a high number.
Yeah I know. In the current state of the game I would say 1 or 2 plants are more than enough to supply 1 energy drink per day.
That could be an explanation. Sounds like the guarana plant (and everything related) could need some additional balancing :)
