Lost Guarana Seed
Feels like such a stupid question - Somehow i lost one of the four Guarana Seeds from the herbalist, and cant complete the challenge of setting up the underground plantation.. Cant seem to buy the seeds from the herbalist - She is level 1, levelling her up with selling is going to take a crazy long time.. Any ideas?

Buy,grow and sell beets/sunflowers. Those are the moneymakers for farming, hence they level her faster. You should have a few sunflower seeds from her shack. You can also get beet seeds from the supermarket if you need more.

Double check your inventory in the house, shelves, crates, cupboards, etc. Maybe you put them in fridge?

Jenny can level up quick. Buy sunflower seeds as they sell for a lot. She will eventually sell the guarana seeds. You should also have a lot of other seeds from her house and yours if you searched early on which will help.

You can also rely on setting traps and sell to hunter. So you can get money to buy things as well.

Great - thank you Gyger + AP - sunflowers have done the trick... I've checked everywhere for the seed.. losing my mind.. but fine now.

You don't have to use any guarana plant. When you look closely at that quest, it's actually about providing 20 guarana fruits. You can grow them yourself or you can just go into the forest (level 3) and collect them.

Don't worry about a missing guarana plant. You will get more of them then you will ever need.

No, actually. The quest before the one to give 20 guarana fruits requires you to plant 4 guarana plants. No rushing the quest by collecting 20 guarana first.

I know. But I never did that. I just collected the 20 guarana fruits and gave them to Jenny. The entire quest is then marked as finished.

I found this is faster and easier and I can use my (at that point) limited greenhouse capacity to grow something more valuable. And since you don't get any XP or something, I don't see the point in satisfying a meaningless quest sub-goal when I don't have to.
