Anyone tried the hard mode?

I tried it the other day. Thinking I was experiend in the game and choose hard and hardcore. I was NOT prepared for how fast the preparedness falls on this mode. I was struggelign with it and I only lasted 2 days and fainted on day 3, and game over :S What are your experiences with the hard mode?

I am currently, and I fainted multiple times. The debuff is stacking, so after fainting you should stay at home to sleep and remove a debuff. Two faints require two sleeps, and so on.

Stay above 50% stamina/food and it is almost as easy as normal mode. I'm about to go to observer on hard mode.
