Can't type password in office

I can't put in De Salvo's password. I have the password, but the game just doesn't let me enter it. I know I'm doing something wrong but I can't figure out what

Hello! You can't type anything in Beholder 2. In order to crack the Alberto DeSalvo's terminal, you need to:
1. Learn the skill of hacking this terminal (a book can be found in the file cabinet next to Alberto’s office).
2. Hack the terminal and study the password entry menu (use hint by clicking "?"). Look at the documents at the terminal and learn about the dog show.
3. Go home, open the door and follow to the exhibition. Pay the guard 500 coins and find out the dog’s name.
4. Return to the Alberto's terminal and enter the password (when you open the login form, it'll already be there, just click "OK").

I got another chance the next day, problem resolved
